Comply with the SMF Preventive Maintenance requirements set out in ONS 6.16

Sub-module 6.16 of the ONS network procedures deals with the preventive maintenance of SMF, a mandatory activity for the agent (generator or consumer) holding the SMF (measuring system for billing).

Preventive maintenance must be performed every 2 years, and does not replace the calibration of energy meters, performed every 5 years.

The connected agent (power utility) must be notified to monitor the activity and participate in the annual maintenance plan organized by the agent responsible for SMF.

AMEW has a specialized team with field technicians to carry out preventive maintenance of the SMF, and Electrical Engineers to issue reports with ART (Technical Responsibility Note) with CREA (Engineering Counseil)

Through the SCDE measurement agent service, AMEW performs all the activities necessary to implement the annual preventive maintenance schedule with the connected agent (concessionaire), as provided for in sub-module 6.16 of the ONS network procedures.

About us

AMEW is a company specialized in consulting, advisory services, and information technology solutions for the Free Energy Market (MLE) and other related sectors.

Founded in November 2015 in Curitiba (PR), AMEW began operations by providing technical consulting to energy generation agents participating in Brazil's Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber (CCEE).

In 2017, AMEW initiated its first software development project, creating a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution focused on telemetry for electricity meters, utilizing the ABNT 14522 protocol.

In 2018, in partnership with GUAZTEC, the company developed its first IoT (Internet of Things) project, implementing an advanced telemetry system for remote monitoring of water reservoir levels.

In 2019, AMEW launched the first version of its IoT system named MSE (Equipment Supervision Module), further expanding its role in technological innovation.

Throughout 2024, AMEW significantly expanded its software and hardware projects through strategic partnerships with national and international companies, consistently aligned with the latest technological innovations relevant to the Brazilian market.

For 2025, following acquisition by Maximovitz & Maximovitz, AMEW will further expand its service scope in technology and system development. In collaboration with partner companies, the company will optimize, plan, and execute specialized services in Billing Measurement Systems (SMF) and testing of instruments and equipment transformers.
